INVERDOORN - LUXURY BIG 5 GAME RESERVE IN THE CERES KAROO, WESTERN CAPE
Inverdoorn Game Reserve and Iziba Safari Lodge offer a unique, big 5 safari experience close to Cape Town. Situated across 10 000 hectares in the Ceres Karoo, our rangers will regale you with their knowledge of African wildlife.
Over 1 200 animals roam free on the reserve and you could encounter any number of them while on a safari. Inverdoorn is home to an incredible diversity of animals including zebras, giraffes, hippos and meerkats, various species of antelopes, bird life and the big 5.
LUXURY SAFARI ACCOMMODATION AT INVERDOORN
Overnight safari accommodation is offered in the premier Ambassador Collection (suites or chalets) with small personal touches and a complimentary mini-bar, Tankwa Chalets facing towards a magnificent succulent Karoo garden, or the variety of Lodge rooms.
While a delicious lunch is served under the trees, a sumptuous plated set-menu dinner is either served in the intimate restaurant with roaring fires and an inviting bar or next to the pool with boma fires and soft lanterns lighting up the dining area.
Overnight guests get to sleep in and enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast in the tranquil surrounds of the Tankwa Karoo before check-out at 10h00.

CHEETAH RESCUE AND REHABILITATION
Another animal that Inverdoorn has sought to rescue and return to the area is the cheetah. With less than 10 000 cheetahs left in the wild, conservation initiatives such as Cape Cheetah pioneer the way forward for their survival.
